The roving phone giants are responding to U.S. cell phone user's growing possibility in buying content from sources other than their Cool.

"Now we can personalize their cell phone with Ringtones. It's not necessary to listen to all that boring (stuff), you can have real music instead," supposedly says an industry expert, whose cell currently sounds a slice of the theme to a hit TV show..

A few current genertation cellular phones, many are speculating, already have Digital music players so consumers can take a portion of their music collection with them. Cool did not begin with Ringtones. Yet, Users will be able to synch their cell phones with their PCs and fill up, or "sideload," the phones with Ringtones.

It's not hard to believe that many see opportunity to secure postions, working for cellualr providers now days is all fun and games. Very lucky employee of Cool spends his days downloading the Ringtones onto a wireless before the Ringtones become available to the general public. He makes sure the songs play right, aren't broken, and won't malfunction if there's an incoming call.

For the established parties in the industry people and content and devices providers this can lead to increadable new ideas, applications, products and more.. For consumers, Ringtones mean increadbly exciting new and untested possibilites uses for their Cool and the continued development of their Cool as more than Ringtones.
