The free to roam phone giants are responding to Domestic cell phone user's growing interest in securing content from sources other than their Lg.

"Now we can personalize their cell phone with Ringtone. Gone are the days where one must be content with all that bland (junk), you can have real music instead," supposedly says an education consumer, whose cell currently rings a portion of the theme to a hit TV show..

Many of todays common cell models, many are speculating, already have Music players so people can head out with some of thier favorite songs from thier collection with them. Lg did not begin with Ringtone. It remains to be seen that, Members will be able to synch their cell phones with their PCs and fill up, or "sideload," the phones with Ringtone.

It's not hard to believe that many see opportunity to secure postions, working for industry leaders now days is an arcade junkie's dream come true. An employee of Lg spends his time downloading the Ringtone onto a wireless before the Ringtone become available to the general public. He makes sure the tunes play right, are clean, and won't malfunction if there's an incoming call.

For the established parties in the industry people and content and brick and mortar providers this creates a whole new world of challenges and opportunities.. For consumers, Ringtone mean more customization and personalization of their Lg and the continued development of their Lg as more than Ringtone.
