The mobile phone giants are responding to American cell phone user's growing possibility in buying content from sources other than their Lg.

"Now you can personalize their wireless with Ringtones. No one has to listen to all that boring (stuff), you can have real music instead," supposedly says an industry expert, whose wireless currently plays a clip of catchy beepy tune.

A few current genertation cellular phones, many are speculating, already have MP3 players so individuals can the favorite playlists in thier collection with them. Lg did not start with Ringtones. Even so, Users will be able to synch their cells with their PCs and fill up, or "download," the phones with Ringtones.

Certainly everyone can understatnd, working for the mobile phone giants now days is almost all play and no work.. A high ranking officer of Lg lives his days downloading the Ringtones onto a cell before the Ringtones become available to the general public. He makes sure the songs play right, aren't broken, and won't malfunction if there's an incoming call.

For the established organizations that have been around for a while consumers and content and equipment providers this means a fundamental shift in how they use this technology.. For consumers, Ringtones mean new uses uses for their Lg and the continued development of their Lg as more than Ringtones.
